I'm modding an old Nightfinder and I have removed the AR, brassed it with 7/32 and increased the seal on the plunger. When I went to put in a bigger spring it actually shot worse and had less power. I know the barrel length can have something to do with it but I can't figure it out.
What I do know is that it's not air tight and I believe the tube flexes under the pressure as there's no other way air can get out. At the moment I have the stock spring thats stretched out and a 2nd weaker spring. I'm using mostly worker stephans and in it's current form, it will fire through a scar barrel. With the [k26] all darts would get stuck.
Any help would be appreciated!
