So, I bought a brand-new Stryfe and I opened it to find out that Hasbro actually deleted the annoying dart lock on brand-new Stryfes and the thermistor is more box-shaped, possibly to make shunting harder.
I'll take a picture of the thermistor soon, but I wanted to inform you all of these changes to brand-new, out-of-the-box XD Stryfes.
EDIT: Got a picture of the new thermistor, after I shunted it to permit upgraded batteries.
